About Me

As a highly qualified engineer with over a decade of experience in control and automation engineering, robotics, software programming, social media, team management, and teaching, I am dedicated to problem-solving, customer satisfaction, delivering results, and continuous self-improvement. I currently hold degrees in Control and Automation Engineering, a Master’s degree in Automation and Systems Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Electrical/Computer Engineering, I possess strong communication, organizational, sense of urgency, self-awareness, teamwork, leadership, time management, and emotional intelligence skills.

I am currently seeking opportunities to apply the skills I developed throughout my academic career, particularly during my Ph.D. program. These skills include expertise in Artificial Intelligence, such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Reinforcement Learning, along with image processing and Data Analysis. Additionally, I have knowledge of control (discrete and continuous) systems applicable to patrolling drones and various robotics.

Research related to the development of trajectory planning and coordination between flying cars by Embraer and its affiliate Eve Air Mobility.

National Taiwan Normal University – Taipei, Taiwan

Research project focused on deep learning detection and segmentation of cervical cancer using tissue cells. This research has involved the utilization of various Python libraries, including TensorFlow, Keras, Linux, Pandas, and Numpy, along with data analysis tools. Additionally, a collaboration was established with a medical clinic to obtain the necessary database and conduct a comparative analysis with the implemented software. Furthermore, papers are currently being prepared for future publication.

Research in multi-robot systems based on Discrete Event Systems. The controller was initially designed using Supervisory Control Theory and subsequently implemented in Matlab. To facilitate simulation and visualization, an API was employed to establish a connection between the controller and V-REP.

Bachelor of Science: Control and Automation Engineering

Federal University of Santa Maria - Santa Maria, Brazil

Final graduation project was the design of a 3D-printed gripper using a combination of flexible and rigid filaments. Additionally, I integrated a sensor and a motor to enable control of the gripper. The programming aspect was accomplished using Python, while an Arduino board was utilized for hardware implementation. To establish communication between Python and Arduino, an API was employed.
